We are planning an exciting Summer Program for children ages 2.5 - 6 years old (Kindergarten Graduates). It is a curriculum based program with certified teachers.  The summer program runs for 6 weeks from July 10th through August 17th, 2017 at both Stepping Stones and Rainbow.

 

Our Summer Program will include arts & crafts, music, dance, story time, dramatic play, puppetry and group games. Our new and creative outdoor yard has a water play area that the children manipulate themselves by pulling ropes that allow the water to escape the buckets. There is a unique sprinkler system with hanging noodles that becomes a car wash area, as well as water tables for the children to enjoy. The children enjoy climbing and sliding in our tree house. There is a sand play area as well as a picnic area.

 

All the children experience planting and gardening through our special children's gardening program that begins in the Spring; which involves planting, watering, weeding, observing, picking, cooking and eating what they have grown.

 

Our painted road allows the children to ride bikes and vehicles while learning the various road rules and signs. Outdoor time also allows our children to participate in group games such as parachuting, basketball and relay races.

 

Don't forget that our indoor facility is fully air conditioned. Your child will enjoy our exciting daily themes.

 

In addition to all of the activities mentioned, our Kindergarten & First Grade children will be a part of our extensive thematic units. At Stepping Stones the K - 1st Grade children especially enjoy our trip to the supermarket to buy ingredients in order to bake for their bakery. The bakery is run by the children and the entire school visits the bakery.  There will be a literature appreciation component that will allow the children to act out stories through puppetry, drama, costume design and creating their own books and stories. The older children work cooperatively to create a carnival for the younger children with exciting games. There is so much for your child to discover!
