"Our daughter Mairead started rainbow with My Toddler & Me, graduated from the Pre-K and is now in Eagle Kindergarden, as are the majority of her former classmates. Her Rainbow experience, which encouraged learning through play, and her confidence and enthusiasm made the transition into Kindergarden simple. Our son, Colin s now in Rainbow Pre-K and loves talking about who he played with during center choice. Ever day is something different. He proudly writes his name on everything and he is starting to show a real interest in writing and in learning. Our youngest son, Eamonn is in Nursery and he cannot get to school fast enough to see his friends. His favorite project so far, is his robot of rectangles named Diego. All of this is made possible by a tremendous staff of caring, energetic, creative, and committed teachers who always know how to reach and teach each child on a one to one basis and in a classroom setting. Events such as Mother’s Day Tea, and Daddy Day, allow everyone to be involved and participate in the fun. My kids are s proud of their classroom and they can’t wait to show all the cool things they made to decorate their room. Even watching our third child singing and dancing at the many celebrations, we still feel as if we are seeing it for the first time as each class is unique and with its own cast of characters. It is an experience every family should enjoy."

“Dear Rainbow Staff,I just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful memories and outstanding Pre-school education you have given to my three children. I truly believe that Pre-school is an extremely important part of the growth of a child. You have given my children the best start. The Pre-school curriculum goes above and beyond the Pre-school curriculum that is mandated by N.Y.C. My children were very well prepared for kindergarten.Your theme-based curriculum which includes music, dance, and getting along with others, made every day an exciting adventure. Some of my children's favorite adventures were their bear’s graduation, daddy day, picking pumpkins in the yard, and the turkey wobble song. My daughter who just graduated, still talks about her favorite center, which was the writing Center. When she entered kindergarten she was already reading and writing. Thanks to the teachers who are amazing, patient, caring and fun.My experiences at Rainbow School over the years have always brought tears to my eyes because the school and staff are so special to me. My children are all in gifted programs in N.Y.C. public schools and I’m sure their education and experiences at Rainbow have made a difference. “I was truly hesitant about placing my twin girls in a pre-school program, thinking of course that they would learn and grow intellectually with a caregiver and myself. Was I wrong!Stepping Stones Pre-School has influenced my children in ways that I never could. Their staff provides a warm and loving teaching environment. There is such a great balance of small group activities, quiet periods and outdoor activities (as weather permits). The teachers encourage self-expression, expose children to literature, music, are and science.My children, within a four-month time, have grown and developed intellectually and socially.
